A CLOSER GLIMPSE

     My husband, John,

and I have been married for almost 24 years. Our family lives in a small town nestled in the Sierra Mountains. We are the parents of six awesome kids whose ages range from 22 to 8 years old. They have provided us with volumes of great material, symphonies of laughter, and loads of laundry.

  MORE INFO.

I wrote a family humor column for the Fergus Falls, MN “Daily Journal” for two years. In 2002 our family moved back to our home state of CA. After we got settled I began writing for the “Auburn Journal”. Along with a monthly column, I also began submitting feature stories and photos. In January of 2005, my children’s book, Pumper John, was published by Hanley-Wood Publishers, the largest publisher of masonry and concrete text books.

I am currently a stringer for the “Colfax Record”, where I have covered everything from human interest stories, editorials and the latrine duty of all journalism- city council news.

I have been a volunteer on the Samaritan’s Purse media team for the past two years. I am the mom of a Special Op. Marine and involved with Operation Mom. My articles have been posted on A Greater Freedom.com as well as in Leatherneck Magazine.

I feel passionate about writing humor that packs a punch and enjoy speaking to women’s groups.

OBJECTIVE
